Called in to The Jug Inn at Chapel Haddlesey, I had not been in here for 35 years so it felt a little nostalgic for myself and my wife. It is a delightful pub with a small outside play area for kids. The new hosts Dave and Louise said they had only been in the Jug for three weeks and are new to the area. What an impression they have made, the Guinness was brill as was the wife's the Pino wine. I had the home made chicken leek and ham pie with chips and veg, the wife ordered the chicken in a basket with chips, the chicken are in a crispy coating of the jugs own recipe. Both meals were very very nice and ample portions, we will definitely be back shortly to sample more home made foods, The pub is decorated well and is well worth visiting. Well done to the new hosts and keep up the good work.

Absolutely love this place, amazing food hospitality. Everytime we visit it's like going home. Mick and Jayne are the perfect hosts who treat all their guests as family. All food is home made best pizzas outside of Italy and all at a reasonable price too. See you soon we will definitely be back.

We decided to try breakfast at The Jug Inn on a Sunday morning now that they are open. The food was excellent, with perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict and deliciously large portions of American style pancakes. We really enjoyed our meal!
