Fist time we have been here! I promise you will not be disappointed. Greeted by friendly staff and the food was delicious. Proper homemade pub grub!!! Complements to the chef!!! After seeing and hearing good reports of the George and Dragon we decided to give it a try taking along our grandchildren. First impression it was clean and tidy. Nice eating and a large beer garden with much to do for the children, personal are polite and the pub is dog friendly would highly recommend
Very happy with this place they drive from a day in doncaster to york and thought they, meh, let them try it. 3-course menu with drinks and everything served very well. portion sizes are very good. the food was delicious and as for the cheesecake (I always go for cheesecake) it was one of the best I ever had. friendly staff, nice warm mood in the inner and the background music also play decent. will return to the future when I am in the opposite.
My son and I together with my very dirty jrt came to lunch after a long walk in brockdale. we have a very warm welcome and said that the dogs could come in. we decided to sit outside as it was a nice day. the food was in front of place quickly arrive and warm and fill we would highly recommend the place
Amazing eating top notch that are staffing so polite and helpful and always keep the drinks comingffo will go again no profis about these youngs! carvery there was wherewww best iw had in a long time.
Great food with a varied menu and all served hot and together. fish was so good batter thin and crispy not gunge like you get in some places. Thoroughly enjoyed our family meal and made to feel very welcome.
