Londesborough Arms - Selby

In the george to lunch 7/5/22. very busy, pub full high time guests pre high time. large selection on the menu. for small fish and chips with brot and butter as add-on, also double-burger with spicy nduja...pork up. both meals came sharp, good taste. it is neither gastro nor fine eating, but also the price. will immediately call again for lunch in selby. great service of coxy ning.

Visited the george gas house on a day visit in selby. had several drinks at a reasonable price, staff were friendly and a great location next to the cathedrale. ordered something to eat that after an hour finally came both meal times were stone cold and and steak had...more grim than meat when waiter came to take away teller asked if everything was in order, we said that everything was cold and steak was terrible, to which he would pass on the botanical. we waited 20 minutes for someone to come over and apologize, but by no means. extremely disappointed about the customer service or shouldn't say that. we will not visit again and would not recommend any of our friends who visit the opposite.

Last-minute lad’s night to pick up with old friends and can honestly say that the workers at the george were amazing to deal with us. not only did they not expect a group of youngs to appear simply, but we were not the ones. most organized. the personal was amazing and it was nice to laugh with them.

Had a lovely afternoon in The George today when meeting up with family. Originally we were only having drinks but ended up buying food. We shared the sharing board between up all and what lovely food it was, the presentation on the board it is...served on added to the experience. The staff were a delight to talk to and helped when choosing from the wide selection of gins. We will be back.

Came for food while at my Daughters. We entered from the front and saw the pub was quite busy. There seems to be no specific eating or just drinking area. As football was on the screens there was little room inside so we went out...back in the beer garden. We ordered burgers and didn't have to wait long . Food was as good as expected no frills cheap and cheerful.. price was fair service good.. please just wipe the bird poo from the tables outside if people have to eat at them.
