Stopped off on our way to Leeds,found the coffee shop was open the coffee was very nice had some cakes with our lattes.freindly staff told us the darling buds of may was filmed in town emmerdale is filmed nearby. View all feedback.

Came for a quiet catch up with my friend, to find the whole ground floor cordoned off as it had been cleaned- fair enough but at 6.30, a little early! We managed to get a seat downstairs but the drinks were nothing special, a lukewarm cup of tea and a hot chocolate full of powdered lumps. The manager greeted us warmly and the coffee was excellent, as always. The seating and table were very comfortable.
This Costa has been given a great asset of George who has pulled it back around after a long time of it being very hit and miss. He is a very friendly and capable young man and was much needed. It will be a pleasure to visit it again !
The restaurant had a dark and gloomy atmosphere, with empty hand sanitizers and a young lady who served us in a disinterested manner without ever smiling. The premises seemed dirty and rundown, prompting us to ask for our table to be cleaned. The window frames were in terrible condition, covered in dirt and with dead flies and crumbs on the windowsill. Given the ongoing concerns about Covid, we did not feel comfortable with the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, and as a result, this will be our last visit.
Lovely staff and the coffee wasn’t too bad either. The place was sanitised when I got there and people were socially distanced in the queue.
We have visited this Costa three times in the past few weeks, only to find a sign saying "Due to unforeseen circumstances...takeaway only." It's a disappointment to walk 15 minutes to the cafe and not be able to eat inside. This place is a joke. When we were able to sit inside, we were served in paper cups. It makes us question why we are paying "eat in" prices. The staff appears undertrained and unsure of their duties. The tables are never sanitized or wiped down. We do not recommend this restaurant.
