great cake and baked. only grip is the steak-pies that are used to be owal shaped, but are now round like the meat and the kartoffel. we couldn't tell who the cake was who, and it would be great if they changed the steak again. beautiful, pleasant staff View all feedback.
What doofvfood dislikes about Waterfields:
I was getting hungry in Southport, so I decided to stop by Waterfield's for a snack. I tried the Lancashire pasty, which was decent. The pastry was a little thick and soft, and the filling was a bit too salty for my taste. I found it to be a bit expensive at nearly £2. View all feedback.

This place does the best sandwiches we've had. Chicken and stuffing, fresh white bread, Chinese, onion, salad and mayo. The hot food is great too. Try the flake cakes, we buy some to take home as treat.
I visited the restaurant again this week. The sausage rolls were not up to the standard I expected as they were a bit overcooked. However, the sourdough bread we bought was very nice. The cakes looked appealing, but we decided not to try them on this visit. The pies looked more appetizing than the sausage rolls, but we were just looking for a quick bite to eat.
I visited this restaurant last week and ordered sausage rolls. They were freshly cooked and piping hot, and at 2 for a pound, they were a great value. The restaurant also offered a variety of pastries for sale, all of which looked delicious. One thing to note for potential buyers of the sausage rolls is that they were a bit peppery, but still good. In addition to the sausage rolls, the restaurant also sold cakes, sandwiches, birthday cakes, and jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings.
