The last time I went in the café I handed the toastie to the assistant who did the tea, and I asked if you still got the small salad with the toastie, no we are not allowed to do it, So, I said I didn't want the toastie, she said I've put it on now you will have to have it. No I won't and you can take the tea back as well. so I didn't have anything and havn't been back in the café since

However there are occasions when expectat... read more I do not usually do reviews of in-store cafes as I feel that for the most part they will all follow a similar pattern. However there are occasions when expectations are exceeded; in which case praise is due. There are other occasions when the opposite occurs, as with this, my first visit to a Waitrose cafe after a chance meeting with a friend.
