The Sandgrounder Chippy - Sefton

A short Friday evening visit to southport could only mean a thing. chippy tee! we have fallen on the sandgrounder and what a jewel to find this place was. eating was really pleasant and the portions were a good size for all of us. the staff was friendly and helpful! definitely worth a try. we'll come back when we're in town!

Great food, really fast service. nice staff, very pleasant. preist way better than others near the carousel, without names, and eating is much higher quality. will definitely be back. prost for the grub and the chat. I wish them a lot success.

Not a massive fan of fish and chips really as I find them too greasy and I feel horrible after eating them. But tried this place this evening and it was delicious. Got fish and chips, batter was very light, chips not greasy at all and I didn’t feel sluggish after eating it. Also the portion sizes are HUGE! You won’t want a dessert after coming here. Will definately be coming again soon, only downside is no outdoor seating which would be a good addition

The best fish and chips (and peas and gravy... They're light and delicious. Also come in handy cardboard boxes! Highly recommend.
