I visited the Aintree Racecourse retail park L9 5AL Subway on 17/97/20. The staff were superb. I was served by Steph and her Male colleague. They were so cheerful, friendly and helpful. An absolute credit to Subway.
Thr staff were more concerned with online orders than the customers in front of them. My order got split between the toaster due to this so 2 were cold coming to eat it, even though we were eating in. They also rushed us to pay before the food was ready with one staff member on the till doing nothing while 2 others were rushing between in person and online orders.
I used the drive-thru at this restaurant. Unfortunately, they did not have any hot drinks because their coffee machine wasn't working properly and had been like that for weeks. The sandwich had the wrong filling but was still tasty. The cookie was stale. I didn't complain because I had already left, but I wouldn't choose to eat there again. The staff member at the drive-thru was friendly and efficient.
The staff today were totally untrained in customer service..the acting manager needs to be retrained.went in today purchased what I wanted went to sit at a unclean table .asked staff for cloth was happy to clean it myself was told quite arrogantly they would do it or why don't I sit somewhere else in a very bad tone.i to them I wanted to sit in window as I was waiting for someone I heard them murmuring and staring at me which made my husband uncomfortable.we decided to leave.i asked for their managers name and the area manger told can't speak to area manager but the manager said email them.whilst he's saying this one young ignorant young girl started repeatedly saying is it cos we said move to another table .she repeated it 5times to me I told her it was her attitude and I will sort it.in all the years I've worked with the public I have never come across such bad mannered staff..when I asked for email address another girl said google it .unbelievable .thankfully the manager gave me it ..I wouldn't go there again as clearly the staff do not have any idea of customer service..wasnt that busy yet the tables weren't cleaned with 4 staff behind counter !!! I will email but dnt hold my breath for response if staff are like that cannot see whoever over them doing much!!
The reviewer was greeted by a friendly lady with beautiful long braided hair, but it hung down in front of her body as she leaned over the food. They ordered a salad and realized they had not been given any cutlery, only to be told that the restaurant was in the process of changing from plastic to wood. After some searching, a knife and fork were found for them. Just as they finished their salad, another couple sat down and inquired about cutlery, only to find that there was none available. The couple was upset and had to change their order to a roll so they could eat their meal.
