Arriving shortly after opening time we availed of outside seating, in the shade underneath the sturdy build brick canopy. An inviting breakfast menu is on offer. Opting for an Eggs Benedict and cereal was perfect, with coffee and cappuccino. It was getting increasingly busy as time went on, but staff were great, cheerful and efficient throughout. A grand start to the day. View all feedback.
We came to Liverpool for the weekend and didn’t book breakfast at the hotel so had to find elsewhere. We walked along the docks and came across peaberry coffee house. We were greeted by a friendly smile as was seated promptly. We ordered pancakes and a breakfast burger….. WELL it was Devine! The atmosphere was great had enjoyable music on that got us ready for the day. The breakfast was that good we booked again for the next day. We attended the following morning again greeted by a smile and seated straight away. This time we both ordered build your own breakfast and again the food was fantastic…. Fried eggs cooked to perfection with a runny middle. The decor was an indoor outdoor vibe very nice and the staff incredible attentive. Special shout out to Taniqua who was our server both days. Kind, friendly, will assure you have the best deal and nothing could be to much trouble. She is a credit to the place and hopefully we will see her again next time we visit Liverpool as we will defiantly be returning. It’s is also dog friendly and wheelchair accessible. It was a pleasure until the next time Loz (the girl on the mobility scooter)
I so wanted to like this place we went on a warm day for lunch. I ordered the smoked salmon niscoise salad because the waiter said they were having trouble with fried items in the kitchen so there would be a delay on anything friend. Anyway this was on as a main course and what I got was about 5 6 small new potatoes cut in half, tonnes of rocket, salmon which resembled trout (nothing smoked about it as it was in a fillet) and nothing much else. The portion was very small as well I’m not sure why I paid £13! To top it off there were about 4 small cherry tomato halves on the plate which tasted overripe and almost rotten. I enquired about them and was told they were ‘sun dried’. As someone who purchases sundried tomato’s from Tesco’s all the time I can tell you categorically they weren’t.
After looking at several menus around Albert Dock, we decided on this restaurant because it looked inviting and had a good menu. We were seated promptly, our order was taken, and wine was served as requested. However, we were later informed that they had run out of sweet potato fries, which was disappointing. Despite this, we decided to continue with our meal. The food took a long time to arrive, and I noticed that the chefs were still preparing our dishes when I saw some onion rings on the pass. Our Harissa Chicken Flat Bread arrived with the same base as my husband's Tomato, Parmesan, and Basil Pesto flatbread. Unfortunately, my chicken was cold and lacked flavor, with no hint of harissa or tahini dressing. My husband's dish consisted mainly of rocket with grated parmesan and lacked any taste of pesto. Overall, both dishes were bland and disappointing. It was a shame as we had high hopes based on the menu and initial impression of the restaurant.
I visited the restaurant today and spent some time perusing the extensive brunch menu. My daughter, who is a picky eater, had trouble deciding on something to order. The chef ended up customizing her food order, which was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. I give this restaurant 5 stars for their exceptional service.
The restaurant was very accommodating even though they seemed busy. The sausages were absolutely delicious! They offer dairy alternatives and the coffee is excellent. The view and location are also great.
