After reading some reviews, I decided to give this restaurant a try, and I was pleasantly surprised! The tofu in black bean and tofu in chili and garlic were delicious, and the fried rice and salt and pepper chips were fantastic. The portions were generous and well worth the price. The staff was friendly, and we even received complimentary prawn crackers. I highly recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New Golden Star:
Ordered a meal December 2022 sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and 2 portions of veg rolls.. the veg roles were full of grease, we ate the beansprouts inside 2 of them and threw the rest in the bin and the chicken sweet and sour was the worst meal from a Chinese take away we’ve ever had. Very poor standard of food and we won’t be ordering from there again. View all feedback.
We usually except there 1.5 hour wait but now it’s even worse. Absolutely appalling service. 2.5 hours wait don’t bother

Nice food but just be aware not hot enough and not sure if i would like to heat it up (was chicken fried noodles

Always good, eating it right now its absolutely banging never had a problem ordered loads of times
