I went to lunch with the family, including a 12-month-old and 14-year-old boy who is a wheelchair user and had no trouble getting into the building. The food was delicious and the service very good. The place is impeccable and there are many places to sit. We all had different things to eat and everyone was happy with their food. We're definitely going back. View all feedback.
What Howard-Liverpool doesn't like about Crosby Lakeside:
A little worried about the last review and still a little worried: lunchtime and only 4 people! I hope it's not usual. The place is excellent, I'm not sure I like Christmas ceiling lights: it makes a very sharp architecture look cheap. The blinds that are in the middle of the windows make it darker. Sunny day yes dark day no. Good coffee and the staff is fine, but it is young and lacks direction (a little older has e... View all feedback.
We didn't eat here for about 18 months and what a difference! We had a light sandwich lunch and chips. The bread wasn't fresh, the turkey was turkey, not pechuga in slices, the fries were barely hot and seemed reheated, they were so dry. However, the salad was very fresh. The staff was very nice. The children's food was also barely warm and the chicken nuggets were grey inside, not white, so they left. The drinks were fine. Hot tea In short, I would never eat there again. We were just the three of us there, so we didn't demand a chef. Very bad quality food and disappointing.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant with my friend. She is vegetarian and was very happy to see options for her on the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. I would definitely recommend this place for a visit, especially since it is conveniently located by the boating lake.
Dropped in for a pot of tea and some cake, excellent. Nicely served, friendly service and a nice outlook onto the lake.
Lovely place to go, nice pint, lovely food and young kid on bar very helpful and pleasant. Nothing to much trouble even if he busy.
I went to lunch today with my husband, it's been a while since my first visit to Lakeside's bistro and I have to say that the size of the portion and the quality of the food is very poor and expensive. We ordered fish chips 9. 50 scampi chips 8. The bill of 95 and two glasses reached 27. 50. The food seemed to have been thrown on the plate and in very small portions. The waitress was very efficient and the service was fast, this was the reason for my 1 rating otherwise would have been 0. We'll never visit again.
