Clouds Restaurant offers a unique dining experience where students hone their culinary skills, resulting in generally good food. While some dishes fell short of expectations—like an underwhelming egg nog trifle—the overall meals are commendable, especially considering the affordable prices. The attentive staff, praised for their service during large gatherings, provide a warm atmosphere, which enhances the dining experience. Complimented for their community efforts, Clouds Restaurant stands out as a place of both culinary learning and social impact. Reservations are recommended to enjoy the diverse menu and splendid views.

Once again, the staff at Clouds Restaurant went above and beyond to impress us. Our group, consisting of the Southport Friendship group and Crosby Writers, brought a total of 47 people for our Christmas lunch. Despite the large party size, they also managed to accommodate around 70 other guests. The food was served promptly and came out piping hot, and the servers were incredibly attentive and accommodating. If your child was working there, you should be very proud of them. The same goes for Paula and the kitchen staff. Thank you all for making our day so special.

The restaurant is known for having students learn in the kitchen, and usually the food is quite good for what it is. However, during my visit, I ordered an egg nog trifle that was lacking in both egg and trifle. It was basically just a fruity jelly with whipped cream on top. When I brought this up to the manager, they dismissed my concerns rudely. It is important for the students to learn to accurately prepare and serve dishes that match their descriptions. Overall, the meal was decent but very basic.

I went to a restaurant with a short, but diverse lunch menu. I started with Pate, then had Pork Escalope with Dauphinoise potatoes, roasted swede, and broccoli, and finished with a trio of delicious desserts. All of this was only £9.50! The students working there were very attentive and the view from the 4th floor was of the Pennines. Make sure to make a reservation in advance.

Ideal to take things as donations for others to benefit from when you no longer use or need, also it helps out to get food packs on longer months when pay days are an extra week or so apart from regular due dates.
