Oregano's Pizza Bistro - Sedona

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. I ordered thin crust pizza, pasta, and garlic bread, and they were all incredibly delicious. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who made the experience even better. The entire restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the restrooms were also quite tidy. The decor featured charming antique items that added to the restaurant's beauty. Overall, great food at a reasonable price!

The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. I ordered a Chicago-style pan pizza with four toppings, which I found to be just the right amount—any more would have been too much. The pizza is quite large, easily enough to serve 3 or even 4 people. While it is a bit on the pricey side, the portion size makes it reasonable, as you can easily have two meals from it! The flavor is good, though I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had. They advertise it as a Chicago-style pizza, but I can confidently say it didn’t quite meet that standard. Still, I’ll give it 5 stars because I enjoyed it!

However, I have to mention a little hiccup. When my pasta arrived, the waitress noticed it was a bit dry and offered to add more sauce, which I appreciated. But then I was surprised to see a $0.99 charge added to my bill. When I brought it up to the manager on my way out, I shared that I had read reviews about this issue before and how it upset some customers. I suggested that a small upcharge like this could drive potential customers away, but he seemed completely indifferent. His smug attitude was really off-putting.

We came here for lunch and ordered a full salad, lady scampi pasta, bread sticks, and drinks. The portions are huge and between sharing with 3 people, we had a ton of salad left over. The food tasted great and the service was good. Not to mention the gorgeous view! Lots of places around to walk off all the food. Love this place!

Oregano 's has a great variety of options of Italian food. Pasta, pizza, appetizers and more. They have plenty of options for vegetarians. We started with their 'mom 's Mac and cheese ' which was delicious. It comes with a slice of garlic bread. We also ordered their 'Gotch 'yo nachos '. They serve this on potato chips which was a good twist to the traditional Mexican nachos. I counted 6 people walking by our table and looking at the nachos with their eyes wide open. We didn 't mind. The menu did say that it comes with jalapeno and pinto beans but we hardly found any. The strawberry and mango lemonade was fresh and delicious. We couldn 't get to pizzas because we were so full with these two items. Would definitely recommend.
