The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful, and obviously very dedicated to the establishment. The appetizer was excellent and not like anything I’ve seen on other menus, and the Gorgonzola gnocchi was amazing. All ingredients were fresh and delicious, but the meat for the main courses was slightly overdone/dry and the sauces weren’t particularly remarkable. What Terrell Cummings doesn't like about J Wine Bistro:

The J Wine Bistro has been in business for a year Hopefully many more to come.
I wanted to like J Wine Bistro far more than I didBased on the reviews, I was looking forward to the experience.
La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. All you have to do is try it yourself.
Excellent food. The mozzarella and tomato salad was the best I've ever had. Shrimp and scallops over polenta were a wonderful and unique mix of flavors. The menu had a wide variety and the service was wonderful

It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm.
