El Rincon Mexicano - Sedona

Mexican food is my favorite fare, so I was excited about dining here. But the food was completely tasteless the three people at the table all used quite a bit of table salt to try to bring any flavor to all dishes. Oddly, even the strawberry margarita was muted in flavor! The chips were stale and the salsa was terrible. I don’t know how any Mexican restaurant can get chips and salsa wrong, but we were shocked at the poor quality of every thing we ate and drank. Then, to make our visit even worse, the bill was pushed on us while we still had drinks being consumed, and they came back and stood over us when we did not pay it after a few minutes (since we were not finished with our dinner or visit. After another few minutes, a waiter came and asked us to leave because a couple had arrived who wanted outdoor seating. They had 4 open tables inside the restaurant of various sizes, where this couple could have sat. But because they wanted outside seating, this restaurant chooses to kick out paying and dining customers? We were appalled, and will never visit this establishment again. I have never in my life been told to leave a table to accommodate another customer, especially when other tables were empty.

Beautiful Mexican restaurant with a large menu and a great margarita. The chicken fajita salad was good but a little dry without some kind of dressing. The chips are crispy and the green enchilada sauce has some beef in it for an awesome flavor.

1 star because I can't leave 0. The food was absolutely horrible, no flavor whats so ever. The margaritas were also bad. We paid 20 per margaritas!!! not worth it at all. The waitress only checked on us once yet there was a 20% gratuity charge included. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Find another place to spend your money.

1st and foremost, best Margaritas ever! The green chili Navajo pizza is absolutely amazing. Chips and salsa delicious. Will be making ElRicon a monthly stop since we are local.

Dog friendly and wheelchair accessible! Beautiful patio dining and exquisite food. This is the best red enchilada sauce I’ve had in years. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere, and a welcome respite from the heat and crowds of Sedona.Parking: This area is crowded and drivers lack common sense and courtesy, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. Good handicap parking nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out for wheelchairs, and respectful staff.
