After a Mexican lunch in Sedona, Gigi commented that a Blizzard would be great. So, we drove up Oak Creek Canyon to the nearest DQ. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We found a booth by the windows to enjoy the bucolic canyon views. A picture of my Strawberry shake with the real attraction in the background.

The blizzard I had was made perfectly as was my wife's dip cone. This place is unique as a DQ is the last thing you would expect driving through this part of nature but it doesn't look out of place and there was a rather large gift shop for tourist. I would imagine during the day this place is pretty packed but at 6:55pm on a Saturday we were the only people there.
Great place to get authentic jewelry for a good price while in Sedona. There are around 10 tables that get set up outside the dairy queen in the daylight hours with handmade jewelry.
Busy place but on the ball with getting items out quickly. Also nice gift shop with reasonable prices. Also Native Americans selling beautiful jewelry and items in the lot next door. Nice place for a cool treat, bite to eat and a little shopping
Random but a perfect stop for ice cream with friendly staff and standard quality. Also found myself looking at the turquoise jewelry being sold just right outside the Dairy Queen. Great experience.
