Cafe Jose - Sedona

This was a random stop for us hungry travelers visiting Sedona. We visited in Aug. during the COVID pandemic. I would say this restaurant was lacking COVID mask wearing and cleaning if you are concerned about this. Our server wore a mask at our table. This was my first restaurant I visited in my recent travels (more than half a doze locations that was not open with their COVID policies and obvious with cleaning and hand sanitizer , so I was little surprised. The menu is extensive with all day breakfast available (my understanding . Great for our party that had different moods for late morning, early afternoon meal. Food portions were large. I ordered a Torta Cubana, a very large stacked sandwich. It was difficult to bite into (enjoyable! and was tasty. Not quite my preference for sandwich, but I enjoyed trying something new. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal. I think service was great, however we didn't have water refills often.

The breakfast was fantastic! I had the shredded beef omelette and is was wonderful, full of flavor. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious food and large portions. Very friendly service as well. Lots of bacon made to my liking! Eggs were cooked perfect over easy. Coffee strong , but not bitter. Big thick French toast was fluffy and moist. Everything was full of flavor. We will be back!

Cocoa sat us and was so kind. The breakfast was delicious. I give Cafe Jose 5 stars.

Probably some of the better Mexican food of Northern Arizona, and absolutely the best value. More important though? The service. I haven't even left the Restaurant yet and I'm writing this review, the service is THAT good.
