L'echiquier - Sedan

Pleasant restaurant very well located in front of the castle fort of the sedan which is iconic. warm welcome, beautiful interior decoration. We ate on the brewery side, not the big tables in the world. ratio quality correct price may be a little expensive yet. presentation of the beautiful dishes. the negative point and the waiting between the dishes we arrived at 12h to leave around 14h. while we weren't much at the restaurant today!

Out of service, we were so happy to discover a place that had been recommended to us by our neighbours of gastronomy. greed and fir-traute will not see us tonight! we enter the restaurant and find that the welcome has put on its winter clothes: the evening will be cold. because I move with difficulty, I delay reaching the table that is assigned to us. The waiter didn't have the elegance of waiting for me to reach the table. He's already gone when I get here. Of course, I am ready to philosophy on the fact that a duck must be well cooked and certainly not at the point ... but in this case, that it is not used rosé! apparently, defending gastronomic lexicon is done to the detriment of the customer, which is greenly repeated. Since we speak up, we should start by repairing stairs that are dipped and replacing towels and napples perforated by wear. It's crazy. a little advice to finish, when the server wishes you a good suite without booking you in the wine, that your bottle was placed far enough from your table and that your glasses are desperately empty, if you ask to be tight, don't be surprised to get a nonchalant gesture that forces you to wait. If the staff does not want to serve, just put the bottle on the table, so that it is accessible. It's gonna be okay. Well, let's give the caesar what's going on. a big thank you to the chief for a food that was quite appropriate. Good continuation!
