We arrived here as a rather demanding and noisy mixed party of several nationalities of 8 without prior booking. As it was a Tuesday a table was not a problem. Madame and her chef, assisted by a young waitress, coped well with half our party arriving materially later than the first contingent and the need for split bills, and we all got to the coffee stage at the same time without anyone watching everyone else eat. The food was classical French. I enjoyed my oysters, and the Turbot was well liked by the youngest member of our party. I had the filet de boeuf pôelé which would satisfy the most traditional steak enthusiast. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Decor etc is very traditional and the place gives a good sense of the Ardennes. It has a mention in the Michelin Guide Rouge, and one of our number had eaten there before. It is a town centre restaurant without dedicated parking.

We were pleasantly surprised at our dinner in the good old days. full and varied map for all budgets. very good reception and good service!
Lunch on a Sunday noon with family. quality of good-wearing dishes. well cooked calf ris, holy copyy jacques, but a much too long service. (backed to exit at the arrival of the card: excessive between each dish despite a rather slight sharp tables). Cafés ordered at the end of the meal that will only arrive after, for unfinished glass of wine. A server that certainly has concepts of reception, but with a humor not always very understandable. We'll have to do better to see us back.
