We went to Mazios tonight to eat. Worst dine in experience ever. We ordered salad bar first waitress never came to check on us. Then brought us our pizza never asked us if we needed a refill pizza was far from hot, never removed our salad plates or did a check up on us after our first slice of pizza. This one hurts. This is my favorite pizza. We had a bad experience last time but I chalked it up to being busy and understaffed. Then again tonight, we ordered online for 5:20pm. I arrived at 5:22pm. It was not busy and seemed to be well staffed. Our order wasn't ready but I don't mind waiting a little. There was a great selection of great tasting food on Mazzio's buffet, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very family casual. I love it! It is now my favorite pizza restaurant.
Placed online at 6:40pm. Received email at 7:45 order on it's way. It's 8:35pm and we haven't received our food. I'm super ticked.Told the meal was comped after calling customer service. It's not the money- it's the rudeness of the store lying and taking my money for an order I was never going to get. Doubt we ever go back.What in the world has happened to Sedalia businesses? So disappointed.
We arrived at Mazzio's at 12:15 on a Sunday. At that time the lobby was not very full. There was only one waitress working her butt off. Unfortunately it took a long time for her to get to us to take our order. We had salad bars, sodas, and ordered a calzone. An hour and a half later we finally got our calzone. But partly because I had to ask them at the window how much longer and have them put it in a box for us to take home and eat it.Although the food is good and the calzone was hot I'm not sure we'll be back, especially on a Sunday. We've gone during the week to the buffet as well and there's also only one waitress working. Mazzio's needs to figure out their staffing and and managing of the employees they do have. There are several helping make pizzas but are not willing to carry them out to the customers. The waitress is also in charge of ringing up orders and checking people out. I'm sure there are other capable bodies in the back that could help The poor overworked waitress.

The box was covered in grease and crumbs and the manager tried to wipe it off instead of putting it in a new box. The pizza was burnt yet somehow cold. We have never had these issues with Mazzios before. It is not doing well under the new manager. I hope they get it turned around before the service gets any worse.
