Doi Cocosi - Sector 1

We returned to 2 Cocosi after a pause of many years. It was a revelation. When they firstly put on the table the hot bread baked in their kitchen, I thought it was a happy start The chicken bors (bors de gaina) - a wonderful taste, not comparable to any other. The pork neck on the grill - wow! The pastrami with polenta and garlic, another great taste... the pickles... a wonderful symphony!!! I didn't think I would find food like this anymore... We were impressed. And hope that next time we'll find again the same tastes and even more! (I forgot to mention the wonderful aubergine salad - real, made in-house.... ) Loved everything!!! Congrats!!!

This is the most funny and sad experience we had in a restaurant . After we entered ,the staff approached us in a second to offer us a table and a drink and after that they just left us there,like for real. After 20 minutes we tried to speak with a woman so we can order something to eat,but she informed us that she can not help us with that and that we must talk to her colleague. The only problem is that we had our hands up in the air,desperatly trying to order something,but even if in the restaurant there were not a lot of people,they were not able to notice us. So we quit,we just left and leave the money for the drinks (without any tips ) and not even when we left nobody noticed that ! And it happened a few minutes ago! :)

"Doi cocosi" is a good restaurant, offering traditional Romanian dishes, but also European. It is clean and nice, the food is good quality and the service ok. In my opinion, is a little overpriced.

Price/quality ratio is pretty good. Service was good. The food was traditional, tasty but nothing really special.

Was not friendly to the foriegner. Food was good. Not as great as other places tough. Experience was the whole thing. Took a long time for food, check and change. Very expensive.
