Our server Shauna, same, super n... read more We were told about Old Gin Steakhouse from friends. The lady who sat us at our table was super friendly, funny and informative. Our server Shauna, same, super nice, friendly and helpful. We had blackened ribeyes. When they first came out they weren?t cooked enough. We sent them back and only a few minutes later they returned and were absolutely perfect. The food was amazing and the other patrons were super friendly. The vibe was positive and fun. Do yourself a favor, go to Old Gin and eat something, anything, chances are you?ll love it. Oh, the peanut butter pie was painfully delicious. We drove 45 minutes to try Old Gin. Definitely worth the trip. One family drove from Huntsville, an hour and a half away. Just wow!!!

Service and friendliness of staff (and owner? were wonderful. Cannot say enough about the NY strip special DELICIOUS!!!... and huge! And the sweet tea was spot on. Also, homemade cheesecake.... nuff said. The only not 5 star thing I can comment on is the non accesible restroom facilities those platforms could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, and/or a wheelchair. Not even bars for a little assistance. If there were accessible facilities I did not see that signage.

We started with... read more What a fantastic warm and welcoming family atmosphere! From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. The wait time was minimal. We started with stuffed jalapeño peppers, which were absolutely delicious. For our main courses, we had the 16oz steak and baked potatoes, both of which were incredible and cooked to perfection. The owner even came by our table for a friendly chat, which really impressed us! We will definitely be returning often, as this has quickly become one of our favorite steakhouses.

Started out with stuffed jelepeno peppers that were delicious. Then we had the 16oz steak and baked potatoes. Both were amazing and cookedperfectly. The owner stopped by our table and we chit chatted for a while. We were very impressed! We will be back often, asit's now one of our favorite steak house.

Way to much seasoning on the... read more I understand the wait , I understand understaffed kitchens but why is all my family?s food cold when waiting nearly an hour for it. Way to much seasoning on the steak, chicken tasted funny , amazing ranch , waitresses kept pace no complaints with them as Iknow they are busy. Way too expensive for the quality I received on a Friday night. Not sure I?ll take another chance on them.
