Art on the walls complements well.O... read more My friends and I recently visited Daphne's in Sechelt. The decor and layout have been changed and is contemporary and clean. Art on the walls complements well.Our meals were spectacular: melt-in-your-mouth souvlaki, Greek potatoes, saganaki ( sheep's cheese fried and served with a pepper garnish) rice, Greek salad, spanakopita, lamb kabobs... ALL done with flavour, excellent presentation and excellent service from a friendly young server. Wine was 35% off and served in an ice bucket and nice glasses. Pita bread was warm and tender and all-in-all an exquisite dining experience. Well done chefs and management. You have a winner!!

I asked for a side order of mayonaise,... read more Went to Daphne today for lunch with a friend. Had the Turkish kebab and it was great. It came with smoked paprika fries. I asked for a side order of mayonaise, as I always do (Dutch) but the fries came with a delicious dip as well. First time ever a dip was better than mayonaise! My friend had the chicken souvlaki wrap and he said it was delicious. Good service. I'll definitely go again.

The girl at the door told us that it had been a busy night and it might be a few extra minutes for the wait on food. We had no problem with that. We sat down and watched the ambience of everyone enjoying there time and meals and were excited to try this expansive menu. Drink menu looked really well prepared so we had a few cocktails and they were so so good. Mules all the way! There were a few things on the menu we hadn't heard of before so we decided to just pick some fun things. Octopus and Greek salad to start (I heard the feta cheese was really good) Moroccan tasting platter and Lamb Tagine. Well the octopus was beautiful. It was presented so well. The texture was soft and just a light chew. So good. Greek salad fresh crisp and the feta didn't let me down. The Moroccan tasting platter was presented in such a way that we were surprised as so many different things kept coming out. The meat was on a stick and hanging over french fries. Really neat! The moussaka was flavourful and the falafels were soft and very interesting with so much flavour with all the items on the plate. Great job! so happy all around terrific experience. Very pleasant wait staff and can't wait to come back.

The garlic prawns were large and flavorful, paired with a massive slice of garlic bread and a tasty green salad on the side. This was my first visit back, and it did not disappoint!
