Nutmeg's Cafe - Sebring

I order the Cobb or Waldorf salad a couple times a week. They are pricey for a salad but they are huge and always fresh and arrive looking exactly like the photos. 5 stars for Nutmegs Cafe!

I was highly disappointed in this order. I must have ordered the Cobb Salad half a dozen times last summer. All the ingredients were fresh and crisp. Todays order included two lettuce cores, pieces of brown lettuce, mushy tomatoes, and some of the cucumbers were half an inch thick. Also, the cucumbers were more mushy than crisp. If I remember correctly, the ranch dressing had a bit of garlic in it that really made it a step above the rest. The ranch dressing included in todays salad was very blah and uninspiring. I ordered a large Coke with my meal. I ordered a large so I would have something to drink throughout the afternoon. Ugh! Two sips and I had to throw it out. Im sure it was diet Coke rather than regular.

My cobb salad with the extra chicken was gritty I couldnt eat it. I have never had this happen before. It was like the lettuce wasnt washed good and I was eating sand. All the other food was good. I am not sure about the other Cobb salad because she took hers home with her. I eat here all the time andthe food has always been great.

Sandwich was COLD. Driver caught the fact that there was tomato on what they gave him. I have a tomato allergy so I would have been in major trouble if he hadnt. The store also sent the wrong food for the second part of my order. Owner was rude and very hateful. I will NEVER order from Nutmegs again.

The Chicken Spinach Panini is delicious! Moist turkey/cheese on slightly toasted bread? Delish!! The Lemon Orzo/Chicken soup? A new favorite! I will definitely order again!
