I highly recommend this restaurant. My friends and I walked in and ended up returning for another meal. I had the sea bass, and it was absolutely delicious—I could have eaten it over and over again. My friends also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The staff is very friendly and has a wonderful sense of humor. It's an excellent place to dine! View all feedback.
What G doesn't like about The Old Fort:
Did not eat here as popped in for drinks on a walk from Apley with the dog, however the location was full and the food being served looked fresh and tasty. Had a couple of Island ales and chilled out in the sun on the outdoor seating opposite, enjoying the wonderful views in the sun . View all feedback.
Lively little pub, serving food and drink, where you'll be lucky to get a table or a parking space most of summer. Nice location right by the sea so great place to watch the world go by. Had a nice lunch here with friends and it was all around £25. Ordered drinks and sandwiches, which had generous fillings and came with fries and salad. My friends ham was a bit too thickly sliced for my liking, but they loved it and my grated cheese and pickle was just right for me. Will definitely visit again.
I always loved the old one. excellent service, delicious food and stunning views! plus great little nipple menu and dog friendly before 18 clock!

Stopped off for a coffee and tea cake and a warm up on a freezing day ,what a lovely place ,really friendly staff ,nice atmosphere,they had a fabulous menu,the food coming out looked delicious ,will definitely be back to eat there .
Probably my favourite pub on The Island!! Only one cask beer Ale Of Wight but always top notch!! Good food and great views across The Solent!! Great place!!
