The Gerald
Description
The Gerald in Ballard offers a mix of cocktails and Korean street food. While the ornate cocktails may not be for everyone, cocktail enthusiasts will likely enjoy the wide selection. The food receives mixed reviews, with some finding it delicious and others mentioning inconsistencies in quality. Overall, the ambience is pleasant, and the outdoor seating area is a nice touch. The restaurant seems to have a loyal following, with some customers excited to return and try more dishes. Despite some hiccups with service and pricing, The Gerald appears to be a popular spot in Ballard for those looking to enjoy a unique dining experience.

Good ambience, lots of drink options. Moderately sized drinks. Kitchen was closed before 9 which was a bummer. The place was not crowded for a Tuesday night, which made it nice for us to get in. We ordered a couple of drinks, they arrived quick. I prefer soda water over still water. It came a little late. But I was surprised that the restaurant charges 2$ for a small glass of soda water! I've never experienced that outside of the UK, where water or soda water was charged. Well... Now that you know.
