The Bubble Tea Shop - Seattle

Got the lavender milk tea. Price did not match the quality, but I could taste the lavender so it wasn 't a total bust. My drink wasn 't disgusting or old as other reviewers have experienced thankfully. Service was really welcoming and warm though.

I guess I should have checked reviews before I went to The Bubble Tea Shop. I was not acknowledged by the person working the shop when I came in, but she certainly saw me when I thought the kiosk was self service, because I had been standing there so long and the cashiering system was facing customers, as it would be for self service. The young lady rolled her eyes at my $1 tip for a drink that cost less than $10. She did acknowledge the white couple that came in after me in no time, while making my order. When she was done she sat my drink on the counter and walked away without speaking to me. I felt uncomfortable and discriminated against for my entire visit. I will not return.

Just skip this place and go to another boba shop. I get boba pretty often and this one wasn't very exciting. The selection is very minimal and theres not a big selection of teas and toppings to choose from. The taste is ok, but not enough to warrant the $8. There are other mom and pop shops with better tasting tea and is cheaper with a wider selection. There's only one size to choose from and its just average. I found weird granules what I assume to be sugar that hasn't been dissolved in my lychee jelly. The customer service is lacking. They gossip in front of customers and were generally pretty rude and curt. Wouldn't really recommend and left me craving better boba.

Huh, looks like other folks had a bad experience but when we were there in August it was exactly what we were looking for!Shop was charmingly decorated. Delicious, fresh and refreshing teas, great selection of popping boba, tasty jellies. The line was out the door but they moved everyone through efficiently.We got my father in law boba here for the first time and even he was a fan!

I’ve had many bubble teas from all over, this is hands down the worst I’ve had. Not cold, too much milk, no crushed ice option, pearls not cooked or stale.
