my sister and I have 3 rolls (Seattle, nori nori, and godzilla) and a false suppe for about $50. was about 20 minutes waiting when we ordered the switch. all the rolls were great! the Godzilla rolls were huge, took 4-5 bites to finish a roll (see photo for reference.) owners are also very nice! The best sushi in town is made by a two-person, takeout-only restaurant located on the hill. Their philosophy is centered around using only the highest quality fish to provide customers with the best sushi experience possible. Due to their small operation, customers are not paying for overhead costs such as a large restaurant lease, a big staff, or an alcohol license. Instead, their money goes directly towards the food quality and the 15+ years of experience that the talented duo brings to the table. This was the first sushi I tried when I moved back to Seattle, and after two years, I have yet to find a better spot.
We absolutely adore this restaurant! It is owned and operated by two incredibly lovely and kind individuals who clearly have a passion for their work. The sushi is exceptional - fresh and incredibly delicious. When people talk about supporting local businesses, this is definitely a spot that should be at the top of your list.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The owners are incredibly nice and the sushi is top-notch. It's a must-visit for both locals and out-of-towners. I highly recommend checking out their lunch special, especially the scallop rolls - they're my favorite!
Always a delicious treat. The first time I came here the pair working were singing to each other, I knew I’d be coming back. Three years later and it’s still my favorite sushi spot, delicious miso, fresh fish, generous portions, all for an extremely reasonable price.
Did dinner for 3 a few nights ago and got myself the caterpillar roll while strolling by today. They are just as good as five years ago. Fast, friendly and always tasty as hell. Get thee some Maki!
