Shelter Lounge - Seattle

We came in tonight 3/25/22 to find that our one of a few restaurants had switched their menu from plant based to not. They can do a few things like sun soy curls for chicken on the chopped salad, but I was devastated to say the least.

I tried the cheeseburger and it was delicious! It was very flavorful and hefty. Will be going back again to try some other things on the menu.

They’ve done an awesome job on making pub food incredible.

Have only been once (so far). My husband and I both ordered the Buffalo Fried Chick’n Sando, which was amazing and very filling. We both also had the Mac n Cheese, which had a gritty texture and a smoky flavor that was not mentioned in the description—neither of us cared for it (even though my husband usually LOVES anything smoky). They’ve already expanded their menu so I am excited to try something new next time.

A co-worker had been telling me about this place and last weekend I was right down the street so I had to stop in. They only have 3 vegan options (fries being one of them-BORING) but the Cajun Tofu Wonton Tacos were delicious!! Tacos in a wonton shell, you can't get those anywhere else! They also have Broccoli and Tofu but I did not try that, but will next time. Great space and vibe at both locations, and while not vegan, the free s'mores station at the fire pit is a cute touch.
