While some diners enjoyed the amazing coffee and grilled cheese, others were disappointed with the slow service and underwhelming food quality. The historic feel of the restaurant adds to its charm, and the Southern cuisine on offer includes standout dishes like spicy shrimp and grits and Brie-stuffed French toast. Despite the potential threat of surrounding construction, The Rowhouse remains a charming spot for a meal, with friendly and efficient staff. Overall, it is a hidden gem in the midst of SLU condos, offering a unique dining experience that is worth a visit.

I don't have a problem with this place per se, but I really can't think of many compelling reasons to come here.
Row House is like a boat house, swampy, country vibe.
Ambiance was decent and wait staff was good. Other than that nothing else I can say positively bout this placeOur meals were luke warm, blend and some of the sides had no taste to them whatsoever. While they have a bar and there own cocktails if you ask for something not on the menu, u probably wont get it. And yes, unfortunately even the cocktail drinks we did order tasted horrible. Bad bar staff..On top of all this, it took them almost an hour for them to bring our food out. Two kids meals, a chicken plate and crab cakes. I was very upset to say the least.Stay away. Go to Perry's Steakhouse next door. Exceptional food, service and bar area.
The staff was excellent and the food tasted GREAT!!! It was a good date night with my wife.
