I'd been to Roux once before and enjoyed their fried chicken but it was a bit too noisy that night to enjoy a conversation with my date. I went again on a Monday and it was much quieter so was able to catch up with a long lost friend. Fried chicken was great. My memories of shrimp and grits Cajun and fried gizzards differ from the versions here. Not a bad thing, but these were sweeter in every case. Service by Ashley was excellent View all feedback.
Went there a few more times (about 3?). Consistently good drinks and food! I come here frequently on special occasions or when I feel like eating something
We dined at Roux on Saturday evening This was our 3rd time over the past few years to try Roux.
I want to give Roux a better review, I have been there twice and it was great.
This is my second time here and I ordered the Ham Benedict. It was good, but the Server said that the Chef tends to cook on the medium side for the eggs so we didn't need to specify.....well not this day.....it was pretty runny but I never send eggs back as they ALWAYS start over and it means that you don't get to eat with your friends. Everything else was fine, we had a good time.
The steak frites and hushpuppies are absolutely delicious!
