Surprisingly excellent! Mexican food usually falls short in Seattle, but this place was fantastic. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and had a nice kick. The service was outstanding as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rooster's Tex-mex-bbq:
I was initially concerned when we walked in at 8:00 PM on a Saturday and noticed there were so few customers, but I was pleasantly surprised. The margaritas were great—not overly sweet—and the smoked meats were outstanding. Even my carne was perfectly cooked. We will definitely return, and I hope more people in the area discover this gem. Good food and very attentive service. We were there with a larger party and they took good care of us. The food is good and is closer to Tex-Mex than most, but it's still not quite the real thing. Chips were thick and crispy and the Queso Fundido was good. We ordered a pretty wide spread of dishes and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The prices were reasonable as well. Good place for a casual get-together.
Great food, really friendly service would recommend and come back again when in Seattle again.
Rooster's is a hidden treasure in an otherwise packed-to-the-gills Cap Hill restaurant scene. Undiscovered but defiantly good. The food was great and their house margaritas were yummy. So glad we discovered it!
Easy access, good food, and great staff. Want a beer, burger, American Fare? this is the place to be. I had the ribs which were good, not fantastic, but good for the price. It's a great weeknight dining spot.
This is not a restaurant so much as a sports bar with Mexican food. There are huge screens on every wall. It's very loud. Margarita was good though. Food was tasteless. Even the chips that came with the expensive guacamole were hard and tasteless.
