What Walter Zylowski doesn't like about Roanoke Park Place Tavern:
Pros: Quick service, cider on tap, outdoor seating.Cons: Credit card surcharge (not explained by bartender), no pitchers, outdoor seating is a bit makeshift with bench style picnic tables and random tables, no AC (usually not an issue in Seattle but was on 8/14/23)Parking: I believe that street parking is regulated until 6pm. I'm not sure if the local neighborhood streets have restrictions. View all feedback.
Friendly staff and great food! They have turkey burgers that are super good. Seating areas are cozy with awesome neighborhood vibe and well-adapted for physical distancing.
Great spot on north Cap hill. New ownership (sean) is very friendly and makes you feel like you are a regular even if you are not. Limited menu with no fryer, I know a bar with out a fryer? The burgers are especially tasty. Good whiskey selection and plenty local drafts.
Great place. They have a small but solid menu of classic bar food, 15 beers on tap, and the ingredients to make any classic cocktail you'd want. You can tell they really care about their customers, I wandered in once on a special occasion and a bartender took the time to come out to my table and let me know why a group of 30 was here together, and that I should feel welcome regardless. Not to miss when you are in the neighborhood.
Our goto neighborhood dive, given we live only a few blocks away. The drink are the usual at the usual price. Their menu is small, but decent. The sandwiches are OK, nothing to go crazy about, but we do love their nachos. They also have a handful of TVs to watch the game and a nice, fairly large backyard to hang out in when the weather is nice.
Cold beer. Fair price the coolest staff and good food!
