The food was fantastic, but they were understaffed, especially with the busy crowd before the Stevie Nicks concert. We had a reservation for 5:30, but we weren't greeted or seated until 6:00. It felt like they just wanted us to leave as soon as possible. One of the employees even insisted that reservations don’t show up in their system. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Papaya Ale Spirits:
There was only one server, so the service was quite slow. I felt sorry for the guy who was working hard. Some customers left because it took too long, especially on a crowded afternoon with a show happening at Key Arena. The pho was overpriced in a bar setting, and not all the dishes we read about in other reviews were available on the menu. Overall, I don’t plan on returning. View all feedback.
The food was delicious but they were under staffed and it was hopping before the Stevie Nicks concert. We had a 5:30 reservation and weren't greeted or seated until 6pm. They just wanted us to go away. The employee tried to claim reservations don't come through on their system.
Excellent service and good, Vietnamese food. Portions are medium size, just right for most appetites. Good value for the price. The only downside was that the restaurant got pretty noisy, because it's all hard surfaces with nothing to absorb the sound.
Service was incredibly slow, drinks and food were incredibly mediocre, and the volume was incredibly loud.
The restaurant was able to accommodate our group of 10 on a Friday night. The service was helpful quick and the food was delicious reasonably priced.
It was a Saturday night pre-event crowd but wait staff was courteous, professional and we never felt pressured to finish quickly. The salad rolls, pho and green papaya salads are sure bets. Noise level can rise if other patrons talk/laugh really loud but its manageable. Great spot to catch a quick meal/drink before attending an event at or near the Seattle Center.
