Sensational experience. The food, service and ambiance were all exceptional. I am Gluten Free, and had forgotten to call ahead and request the GF menu. Was not a problem at all! I got my own tower of slightly modified, and UTTERLY exquisite canapé’s and delights. Every single bite was PACKED with flavor, texture and surprises. Some of the offerings were so exceptional, I almost questioned if they WERE gluten free! Th... View all feedback.
What EmmaL doesn't like about Queen Mary Tea Room:
Having been born and raised in England it is always a treat to find places that take you back home. Queen Mary's is the most authentic tea room I have tried. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The price is very high but I suppose once in a while it is nice to treat yourself. View all feedback.
A most pleasant experience. The tea and accompanying dishes are delicious and the decor and service are very wonderful. Thank you.
For the afternoon tea option and pastries both savory and sweet were very moderate. Yes was great and the service was great, but I wouldn't return for the food. Super tight seating, you can hear any conversation around you. Brownie was so hard, I thought it would splinter my tooth.
The first time in Queen Mary. It was my two older daughters and me. I ordered the high tea and my daughters tea and entrees (Turkey sandwich) from the lunch menu. The tea was wonderful and my daughters liked their lunch. The staff was nice. The food was delicious. My biggest complaint was the cost of high tea, yes it was good, but you literally pay about $5 for every small mini article you get on the record. Remember when you order. Is a shot of glass worth $5 for you or a two-bit mini queue? I will return to Queen Mary for tea and the lunch or brunch menu, but never again for the dinky dish of food that made me hungry at the end.
It was really funny - it took a while to wait, and our server had no good day round and impatient and we had to ask for milk and honey for the tea 3 times.
Charming place for a traditional afternoon tea. Tea, menu, service all first rate.
