I visited a lovely and spotless restaurant and ordered the spiced tomato soup and the Mr. Breakfast. The soup was delicious, but the breakfast looked great but was served lukewarm (bacon was undercooked.) They promptly replaced the dish. Overall, it was an okay experience, but for the price and presentation, I had higher expectations. Partially recommended. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mr. West Cafe:
Food tastes average, especially the avocado toast. Never tasted anything so bland. Coffee is fine. Everything was pricey for its quality. The staff bringing the food is fast and nice. But the workers behind the counter seem to be blind to their customers and just chatted while I was waving for assistance right in front of them. View all feedback.
The place is well lit and in central downtown. It has beautiful decor. I got orange mocha and poppy seed muffin. It was okayish at best. There wasn’t a lot of orange in the mocha.
Such a great spot with delicious food and drinks. Loved their avocado toast. It gets super busy in the morning and line up could take 15-20 min before you place your order. Then you wait for another 10-15 min for your food/drinks so plan accordingly.
Surprised to see the long wait line but brunch was good here. Beautiful decor, good vibe and nice coffee. Worthy of visit if you’re around.
Great place to grab a coffee or a mimosa (the pomegranate flavour was pretty good). I also got the grilled cheese along with a cup of spicy tomato soup can’t go wrong with such a classic combination!! It does get pretty crowded on the weekend so I would suggest going a bit early. And seating can get a bit annoying no one assists you with finding a table. You will have to just walk around to find one.
Mr. West serves up a modern take on the 'café ', with menu items served best for brunch or happy hour, along with a beautifully updated space designed for a high-end industrial feel. If you 're looking for a good place for that first date person you just met online, this is a great option to bring them too. As you come in, you are placed in line to order food, as they don 't provide table service, which I personally think is brilliant. Seating is comfortable for between 2 to 4 people per table. We chose a seat by the window for maximum people watching. Come early for your best chances of finding a seat. If you 're ordering any sandwich or toast, I recommend getting either the shakshuka or tomato soup so that you have something to dip your left over bread. Overall though, I wish I could have given this place a perfect score but our drinks came out roughly 10 minutes after our meal, which is something I hope isn 't usual for every visit, considering the price point of their offerings.
