Merchants Cafe Saloon - Seattle

The restaurant had a shabby and unclean atmosphere, and there were no other customers present. We decided to leave.

This is one of the oldest restaurants in Seattle, with a beautiful interior and delicious food. The staff provided excellent service. We'll definitely be returning!

On the positive side, our server was friendly, although everything—from our drinks to food and refills—took an unusually long time. I ordered a cheeseburger and a salmon burger, but both were overcooked and not very flavorful, though the fries were quite good. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic, but it was freezing inside! I was actually shivering for most of our visit. Brrr!

Came with my girlfriends after the Ghost Tour. The bartender was awesome and so friendly. He was making up drinks for my friends bc they didn't know what to decide on. We didn't have the food so I can't comment on that. It's a historic restaurant so the décor and atmosphere is a bit creepy, but cool at the same time. Will try it out for dinner next time.

This was a great place to go for food and drinks in Pioneer Square. My boyfriend and I went here before going to a comedy show at the Comedy Underground just a block over. I can definitely see us coming back here again for the area, the beer was relatively cheap! $4 a pint) We sat at the bar and they were having problems with the cash register the bartender was obviously frustrated, and yet still managed to pay attention to the customers at the bar while trying to fix the problem kudos!
