What Leila Heller doesn't like about Memo’s Mexican Food Restaurant:
Not exactly authentic, but the pricing while occasionally inconsistent usually ends up fair. The food is a bit better than the service, and the area has virtually no Mexican options, so you’re pretty much stuck with this. Could be better, could be worse.A warning don’t use apps like UberEats. The menu items apparently don’t show up correctly in the app for the chefs, per what they told me, so they mess these orders u... View all feedback. What Jake likes about Memo’s Mexican Food Restaurant:
Finally..... ... a San Diego style burrito joint.. No rice.. no beans .. no filler.. Just juicy marinated Carne Asada and avocado sauce.. Has that SD Roberto's taste .. Not quite Roberto's but a good knock off and you don't have to drive 2000 miles.. Been waiting 15 years for a place like this.. Plus they're open 24/7 and the prices are cheap... View all feedback.

read moreMemos in the U District offers a mixed experience, with some diners enjoying the authentic Mexican flavors and generous portion sizes, while others were left disappointed by their meals. While some customers found the food to be reminiscent of their favorite spots in Phoenix and San Diego, others found the dishes to be too salty or lacking in flavor. The staff also received mixed reviews, with some customers finding the service to be friendly and efficient, while others reported feeling uncomfortable due to strange behavior from employees. Overall, Memos offers good value for the money and is a convenient option for satisfying late-night cravings.
