Our main Chinese go to! Hole in the wall mom and pop shop. Small menu but solid staples. Can easily miss the location as it is dark, small, and tucked in between two larger sized buildings. Delicious (soy sauce based) fried rice, General Tso’s Chicken, and House Chow Mein (the thin, Cantonese style noodles which are very tasty also). Very good Hot Sour soup. Also highly recommend their egg rolls, Kung Pao Chicken, Cur... View all feedback.
I only come here for my chinees food because the food is always fresh and good. The couple is always nice. My twins eat up all the chicken fried rice while I eat up all the egg rolls. Listen I know good Chinese food from growing up in spanish Harlem. They are legit and I'm sad to find out today that they might be leaving, due to the market going up. Let's get out and support them to try and keep them around. Its worth the money.
I went because I had heard the chef previously worked at my dearly departed favorite, Gr*nd Vill*ge. The 'soup of the day ', hot sour, was pretty identical but the veggies tofu in it seemed to be cut smaller. The chicken fried rice is quite good but just didn 't have the same je ne sais quoi. I can 't quite explain what was missing. I 'd still return. Mildly disappointed they didn 't serve hot tea. I asked because I could see a machine teapot but apparently it was broken. Still don 't know why it couldn 't be made the usual way: boiling water bagged or loose leaf. Quaint but adequate seating area. Friendly staff. Really good prices. The fried rice shown was about $10, enough to enjoy have leftovers.
Never judge a book by it’s cover. Based on external appearances alone, I would’ve kept driving, but the pictures of their dishes intrigued me. LEGITIMATE HOLE IN THE WALL! Ordered family style and tried every plate on the table, everything connected with the right texture and flavors. Have been looking for my next hidden Chinese food gem after Seven Stars closed. It’s not Seven Stars, but it was so good on every level.
Finally after 7 years living in Seattle I found a Chinese restaurant that can make delicious food. Tried them and fell in love with their food. My new restaurant that I'll most definitely go back to over and over. I'm so happy and pleased. Nothing else compares.
The outside of the building is nothing to look at but the inside is just fine. The food though... the food is phenomenal. Please don’t pass this place up for its exterior. It’s amazing, plentiful and cheap. Their egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had. They offer complimentary hot tea and soup. Their Thai tea is awesome. Will definitely be back
