I’ve been going here since they opened. I am always impressed by their food and service! Even for take out, it takes 15-20min for a few orders! I recommend this place! View all feedback.
This Seattle restaurant serves delicious and authentic dim sum. The variety is great, and the atmosphere remains warm even near closing time. The prices are fair, and the service is incredibly fast. We were in and out in less than half an hour, possibly because we arrived a bit late. Overall, it worked out well for us.
The food here was delicious, especially the dim sum and hot dishes that we ordered. The dim sum, filled with shrimp, showcased the flavors of Cantonese cuisine. The service staff, mostly elderly, primarily spoke Cantonese and struggled with English, posing a slight communication challenge for us mainland students. Despite this, they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We arrived late for lunch at 12:30 pm, and when we inquired about certain dishes that were not being served, a waitress kindly went to the kitchen to check for us. Unfortunately, the custard buns and quicksand buns were sold out, so she compensated us with a plate of 4 glutinous rice custard cakes. This gesture was greatly appreciated. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant and will certainly visit again when I return to Seattle.
Restaurant name is Ding Feng now.Gave up trying find parking in chinatown so went down south to here as never problem finding parking. Went christmas day so it was busy af but got a table quickly. Got a bunch of stuff and bill was lot less than i expected so got my value worth. Nothing was overly salty which was good.Nice to hear cantonese throughout whole restaurant give it that old school vibe. Some of the ladies also speak viet if needed.Restaurant is dirty af but hey they busy and it's in the hood so you got to put that in perspective.
Love their milk tarts, the best in Seattle, this is the dim sum we always go!
They have dim dum in the morning where they put the dumplings in the carts and we can pick and choose. Very tasty with affordable price. However, it can be very crowded in the weekends so plan
