If you're in Ballard and looking for a cozy place to enjoy coffee, this is a must-visit.

Friendly staff, good coffee and great tasting food. What more could someone ask for? I had an egg on a bagel which they call an eggel. It was topped with bacon... read more Friendly staff, good coffee and great tasting food. What more could someone ask for? I had an egg on a bagel which they call an eggel. It was topped with bacon and all sorts of savoury goodess and made with a lot of loving care. And then for dessert I had a chocolate chip cookie that was loaded with chocolate chips and boy, did it taste good! It was almost as good as my mum's home-baked cookies. I sat by the nice fireplace and kept warm and dreamed about my upcoming trip and a whole lot of other things. Next time you're in Ballard, check out Java Bean. I'm sure glad I did!
