Eight family members joined my wife and I at your establishment because we were there twenty years ago and wanted to relive the moment. Only to find the wait staff forgot orders and wrong orders were delivered then charges were made for orders we actually wanted. The cost was over $500 plus the waiter gave himself a $60 tip. I was so embarrassed. No one finished their food as it was over cooked and cold when delivered. I don’t know what happened to this once great dinning place? But I want the management team to be aware of it so that changes can be made to bring it back to what it was twenty plus years ago.

This restaurant was once a beloved choice for takeout for over 20 years. However, the quality has recently deteriorated to the point where it is no longer worth the price. The salmon dinners were overcooked and dry, with smaller portions than before. We were also disappointed to find no tartar sauce provided and being charged for an unwanted bag. Despite a similar experience with the salmon on a previous visit, we had hoped to give them another chance. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Ivars is located on the very touristy pier but they have excellent seafood, fish and chips, and my favourite clams. I had the clams for take out and they were great. Service was quick and lots of seating area in front on the pier to enjoy the food. Highly recommend it.

We so enjoyed our fish dinners…salmon and halibut. The restaurant is easy to find, pleasantly decorated with great service and delicious food.

We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant with their scrumptious clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl and fish and chips. The prices were reasonable and we loved that they offered outside seating. It was the perfect spot for us to enjoy a delicious meal.
