I visited Issian on December 21, 2022. Issian is a Japanese izakaya that focuses on yakitori and grilled fish. It is conveniently located near the University District.
The happy hour at Issian is excellent. They offer a wide variety of food options, but the yakitori and yakiton skewers along with a pint of Sapporo are always a favorite.
