The handmade sandwiches are incredible! They also offer a fantastic selection of bread, meats, seasonings, and beverages. The service is excellent, and the staff becomes especially friendly once you get to know them a little. I've been coming here for a long time due to the high quality of the food and the lovely atmosphere. Although the prices are a bit on the higher side, it's definitely worth it! View all feedback.
What Spencer Johnson doesn't like about Great State Burger:
Small burger joint. Parking is limited. Food is ok priced for Seattle but keep in mind the burger is just the burger, no sides like fries. It's another $10 for fries and a milkshake. Serving sizes are small but taste good. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burger option View all feedback.
My favorite burger place of all time! Their pickles are top-notch, and they truly know how to do extra pickles right. Thank you, Great State, for always being so consistently awesome and for having such friendly staff!
I ordered the Boss Burger, and I’m really glad I did. It was fantastic! The toasted potato bun was perfect, the burger patties were thick and packed with flavor, and the bacon was of excellent quality. This is truly a top-tier burger. The fries also had a nice, yet subtle seasoning. I can’t wait for my next visit!
The burger was delicious, but quite pricey. I personally prefer Shake Shack, but this place offers a solid burger as well.
Hong is an amazing one man show today!! We are a special needs family and come to Seattle Children’s often we had the best time! The food, music and welcoming atmosphere was awesome and Hong was great company. We will be back! If you’re in the area and getting treatment at the hospital I highly recommend a great bite for all your burger/fry cravings.
Not usually a burger person, but the team wanted to go here after volunteering at the UW Farm. It was so good! I got the great state burger and fries.
