What Jason Chan doesn't like about Fremont Bowl (seattle):
Oh Fremont Bowl, you have not fared well during the pandemic. This used to be my favorite spot for chirashi before COVID, but the quality has declined. Now, you order on screens, the "salad" is just plain romaine lettuce, many tables are occupied by takeout orders, the front blinds are dusty, and dining in means being served in plastic to-go containers. Absolutely love the poke bowl and Chirashi bowls here. Very good portions and fresh fish. I’ve occasionally gotten the katsu bowls too, they are also very good. View all feedback.

read moreFremont Bowl, once a cherished gem in Seattle’s dining scene, has seen a decline in quality post-pandemic, with issues such as plastic takeout containers and lackluster service emerging as concerns. However, the restaurant still garners praise for its fresh seafood offerings, particularly its chirashi bowls and poke, with many being pleasantly surprised by the freshness and portion sizes. While some patrons have experienced service hiccups, others laud the reasonable prices relative to quality. Overall, Fremont Bowl remains a commendable choice for seafood enthusiasts, though it may not be worth a special trip.
