A hidden jewel in the Rainier Valley, often overlooked because it's at the corner. Foods are fresh and cooked in Hong Kong's style. We ordered the fish soup, stir fried lotus roots and X.O. shells. That was our second din. During our first visit we got the steamed fresh fish and it was delicious. The servers are always friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back to try other dishes. What User doesn't like about Foo Lam:
Good dimsum, but we really caught them at a bad time as they were having technical difficulties with their gas line and were not able to make many items normally found on a dimsum menu. Several items were cold as a result. FOH staff are courteous and friendly and the prices are decent. Will have to return later to give a proper review. View all feedback.

Chinese food and service at this location is super good. Staff is always nice even when they have a full house. The staff was very welcoming and sociable. Prices are decent for the quality. I can see why they have so many reviews.
One of my all time favs in WA. I have been going there for 3 remodels now. try the generals chicken, it is a winner. as well as the iron plates. it's been there a long time, and the new owners are trying to harvest more money from the customers than back in the day. but I am still going to have to eat their chicken in the future.
That was an incredible experience in this awesome restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious.
I have never had a restaurant demand we tip more. How about giving us an itemized receipt instead of just demanding we up the tip amount. Our party wasn’t even that large. The majority of our food was cold and the service was mediocre. You just dropped pork on our table with asking us if we wanted it. We asked if it was fresh and you said yes but it clearly wasn’t since it too was cold.The interaction at the end was just odd and off putting. We explained why we tipped the amount we did and suggested the owner come talk to us so we could further explain, since they were inquiring as to why, but you just dismissed us. Would not come back.
