El Farol Mexican - Seattle

My favorite restaurant in Seattle. Their arroz con pollo w macha sauce is amazingly good. I’ve been going for over twenty years and love it.

Juan and German and the rest of the members of this family-owned business are the nicest, most genuine people! Their food is delicious, too! We’ve been going there for nearly 20 years, and during pandemic times it’s our family’s number 1 takeout spot.

This place has been a great place to eat for decades, and had been a great neighbor for that entire time. The service is always friendly, as neighbors should be. The food is authentic Mexican, and always fresh and delicious. I'm a big fan of the enchilada supreme, of which I've left a photo of mine, about halfway through. I'm lucky to live so nearby, but I'd come here even if I moved away.

First time trying El Farol and everything was delicious! The portions are pretty huge and each meal here ended up being two meals. They also gave us a bag of tortilla chips and a cup of salsa. Enchiladas: 5/5 The enchilada sauce was delicious and not too tomato y. The veggies on top were fresh and crispy, which went well with the soft saucy enchiladas. Burrito: 5/5 I really appreciated that the veggies inside weren't overcooked or mushy at all. The squash, zucchini, mushrooms were all perfectly cooked and I loved the addition of the caramelized onions on the side. Both were delicious and filling will definitely be back!

I absolutely adore this restaurant and it has been my favorite spot for more than 8 years.
