Drae's Lake Route Eatery - Seattle

Drae's has: Maybe the best philly cheesesteak in town Crazy good wings One of the best fish sandwiches I've had Amazing kale salad as a side, no joke. Wasn't expecting that! (Sometimes) A salmon philly that will blow you awayAlso, the owners/staff are all friendly and it's a good vibe. Love this place.Vegetarian options: They do a mushroom philly, and the grits bowl/montana loaded potatoes can be without meat. For pescatarians, there are great catfish options

Delicious food, great variety, lovely staff, well-priced.

First time coming here, the inside is a cute set up. They had santa hats on the chairs. The two guys working there (that I saw), we're very nice. I ordered the bacon waffle, wings and the Mac and cheese. All three were good. The people that came in seemed to be regulars and had funny back and forth the the two guys. Over all nice place and good food.

Decided to look for a local chicken waffles spot, found Drae's so decided to try them out. Got there just before the dining room closed but the staff still made sure we were taken care of! The Montana potatoes was amazing, the shrimp grits is phenomenal, and the bacon waffle? It's all in the name, decadent and delicious. An absolute must try if you're in the Rainier Beach area!

Great atmosphere and wait staff. I had the chicken and waffles which were so good I forgot to get a picture. The fries were decent. Not crisp enough for me, but tasty.
