This was my first time trying Peruvian food, and I also ordered a cake. The meal was enjoyable, I particularly enjoyed the main dish. The cake was too sweet for my liking, but it was still worth trying. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Don Lucho's:
the food was okay, the inner one in which we sat, felt just a bit down, the service was very slow to park small area, overall I was just a kind of eh. came here because it was recommended to eat and the drinks were okay, but expensive for what it was. okay to try it once. View all feedback.
This is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Peruvian cuisine! Everything was full of flavor, and the outdoor seating was lovely. To start, we ordered canchita and fried plantains. The canchita was particularly delicious, we regretted not getting more than one. For our main dishes, we had naroz con mariscos, pollo salado, and aji de gallina. It was difficult to choose a favorite between the pollo salado and aji de gallina, as both were incredibly tasty. The portions were generous, but we decided to share so we could try a bit of everything. We also enjoyed some pisco drinks, which we all agreed were top-notch. For those unfamiliar with pisco, I would recommend trying a pisco sour or pisco lagune. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with excellent service and delicious food.
Awful experience. We waited for over 1.5 hours and never received any food at our table. The waitstaff didn't even check on our order until we informed them we were leaving.
Love the Pisco’s drinks , all of them!!! Great food , ? recommended!!! Very friendly staff and the owner makes your experience exceptional: for instance : he comes to the tables ,checking how’s everything , if you need something else , etc …. Again ? recommended.
I tried out their arroz con marisco, fried plantains, and steak pasta and it was okay. When the bills came out, it was around seventy dollars for those items and I think it was way too expensive for what it was in my opinions. It’s Way over priced.
The food is authentically delicious and what it makes it so amazing is having a live Peruvian group playing and singing all types of Peruvian music. The group “Ayer y Hoy” makes everyone so happy in the restaurant
