Went to DIY Tea Lab Fremont. Ordered a Brown Sugar Ruby Black Milk Tea with tapioca. They have a self serve kiosk system which makes my life easier cuz I wanna create my boba drink the way I like it. Honestly a little disappointed in the drinks that we got. I ordered the classic jasmine milk tea and my husband got the Signature fruit tea. My drink literally tasted like milk, I didn't taste any tea. The boba was also ok, not really tasty. The Signature fruit tea was wayyy to sweet. Needed a pick me up after a hot day at the sunday market. Theres also a poke store inside! Good amount of tables, clean restrooms and quick service. Mango green tea
I’ve tried DIY tea lab on two occasions hoping they had a specialty towards fruit or milk tea. Both instances were unfortunately an overpriced disappointment. The Blue Ocean was very obviously just diluted syrup, and the taste was so syrupy it was hard to finish. The Matcha Milk Tea was a hopeful second try, but it was worse than getting a Starbucks matcha—barely any matcha and pretty much just milk. For drinks at this price, there are much better options in Seattle. Service is typical, and the atmosphere was fine, so no problems there!
The boba was SUPER YUMMY and surprisingly inexpensive! (At least to me) it's no overpoweringly sweet even though we did 100% sweetness and we loved that!! They got their boba recipes down!
The Ube milk tea tasted like flavored water it was rather bad. The boba was very hard
I got the brown sugar milk tea and it was not good. Boba was also not flavorful.
